HARDWAY - The Hardways can be played at any time. LetÆs say we play the Hard 6. The dice must show 6 exactly as it is on the layout; 3:3 and youÆll win 10 to 1 or $9 for your $1 bet. Now if 6 would show before 2 or 5 ones, you would lose that bet and, of course, if a 7 comes up you lose as well. The same rules apply for the rest of the Hardway bets. If you bet the Hard 10 it must show 5:5. Any other combination of 10 and you lose or if 7 comes up you lose. A Hard 8 must show 4 - 4 and a Hard 4 must be 2:2. Any other combination or 7 and you lose that bet. ThatÆs the reason for the different colors. Everything in a proposition area is a one roll bet with the exception of the Hardway bet. If you win the Hardway bet, if the dice show exactly as they are on the layout any other combination of that number or 7s and you lose. Remember, the Hardway is not a one roll bet.
